The mission of Bras For Girls is to donate sports bras and breast development education booklets, targeting late elementary to middle school girls - an age at which some girls choose to stop participating in sport due to discomfort with their changing bodies.
About This Cause
The mission of Bras For Girls is to donate sports bras and breast development education booklets to girls, targeting late elementary to middle school girls - an age at which some girls choose to stop participating in sport due to discomfort with their changing bodies. Bras For Girls shares educational content about breast development and body changes with a wide spectrum of girls and women, along with knowledge about how to accurately choose and fit a sports bra. Since 2017, Bras for Girls has donated over 125,000 bras to school-aged girls in need. Bras for Girls plans to keep growing every year, and has partnered with a research lab to study outcome measures of the Bras for Girls program. Bras for Girls has partnered with over 750 community programs, schools, sports teams, shelters, and non-profits to distribute the needed sports bras.
