Mission Statement
"The mission of the Newberg Library Friends is to assist the Newberg Public Library to advance education and literacy in the town of Newberg with particular emphasis on the education of children."
About This Cause
Newberg Library Friends have been actively supporting the Newberg Public Library programming and restoration projects to the 110 year old Carnegie building for over 30 years through the collection of donated books, materials and donated funds having become a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in 2021. We operate an online sales seller account with Amazon, maintain a used book lobby sales area and volunteer thousands of hours of time shelving materials, pulling holds and numerous other library tasks each year. Between the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our community we are proud of our ongoing commitment to assisting the Newberg Public Library in providing quality library service to all free of charge.
