Mission Statement

We equip young workers to take true ownership of their faith and work lives. We enable them to go forth as catalysts of personal excellence for all whom they meet.

About This Cause

YCP strives to share the fullness of the Church’s teachings in a way that is both relevant and challenging to today’s young person. As an organization, YCP is unafraid of the consequences of proclaiming and defending our Faith. As Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI wisely said, “The Truth is not determined by popular opinion.” By God’s grace, YCP has successfully reached Catholics (and discerning non-Catholics) at every stage in the faith journey, spanning professional titles, experiences, and geographies. YCP is intentionally clear and specific about articulating its stance on some of the aspects of Church teaching that are most challenging to understand in today’s culture, such as: -The Eucharist -Chastity -Contraception -Sanctity of Human Life -Holy Orders These five topics are specifically outlined in YCP’s Faithfulness to Church Teaching document, which all official representatives of YCP (leaders, board members, and speakers) sign. YCP focuses on being both relevant and challenging, encouraging questioning and dialogue with its participants who may be at varying levels of understanding/buy-in of Church teaching, but never watering down the message of Truth. By sharing the Truth in a way that inspires hope, YCP challenges young Catholics to imitate Christ by striving for a higher standard of virtue and morals.
