About This Cause
The definition of "Agape" in Greek is "unconditional love". Agape Silicon Valley is a 501c3/Nonprofit organization. Every other Saturday morning, we deliver food, water, supplies and clothing to 20 different unhoused communities in Santa Clara and Alameda counties. Throughout the week, we are in regular contact with our unhoused friends. We are a 100% volunteer organization with no paid employees. We believe that any individual who has their basic needs met, will make better decisions daily. Our unconditional love and consistent service is the key to building the relationships and trust with our unhoused friends and neighbors. The food and supplies is our tool to gain trust. Once trust is built, we find success helping match our unhoused friends with the vast resources available to them from large non-profits and government agencies.
