About This Cause
We're 6,000 Go-getters, Innovators, Risk-takers, and Leaders (G.I.R.L.) who make Southern Nevada a better place through community service projects, leadership development, and public advocacy. Continuing the legacy of our founder, Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada prepares girls to meet their world with courage, confidence, and character. As our Council enters its 88th year of welcoming all girls into the Girl Scout sisterhood, we're preparing future female leaders through our four content pillars: STEAM (Science, Tech, Engineering, Arts, and Math), Outdoor Experiences, Life Skills, and Entrepreneurship. Girl Scouts of Southern Nevada continues to be the preeminent leadership development organization where girls learn and thrive in a safe and supportive all-girl setting.
