Mission Statement
The Mental Health Lou Fund promotes mental wellness by increasing access to mental health services and decreasing stigma through education and programs while centering our work in historically underserved and disconnected communities throughout Louisville.
About This Cause
Mental Health Lou is a collaborative initiative uniting mental health practitioners, non-profits, agencies, and community members in Louisville to promote mental wellness. Our mission is to provide accessible mental health resources and support to individuals and industries. We offer: Workshops: Free educational sessions in partnership with local organizations to build awareness and foster resilience within the community. Provider Database: A user-friendly tool to help individuals find and navigate mental health services in Louisville. Free Counseling Services: Through partnerships with local non-profits, we provide counseling at no cost to those in need. Annual Conference: A gathering designed to educate industries on mental health topics and equip them with tools to support wellness in the workplace. By partnering with local organizations and leveraging our community connections, we strive to make mental health care accessible for all and to create a more supportive, informed Louisville.
