About This Cause
Journey: Healing Together (J:HT) is a fledgling community center co-locating with Journey to a Trauma Informed Life, LLC in the heart of downtown Erie PA (201 West 11th Street). Founded on the understanding that healing takes place within the context of community, J:HT creates spaces for people from different perspectives to come together. This 4,000 sq. ft. space provides a sense of safety and peace as soon as you walk in from the busy street traffic on 11th and Sass. Currently, J:HT carries out its mission using three primary vehicles - community-building activities, assisting individuals and families access culturally sensitive mental health counseling and wellness services, and mentoring and support for LGBTQ+ youth and their family.
