About This Cause
At Mysterious Ways JC we specialize in connecting the people in need to the resources and organizations that can help them. There is no one organization that can solve every problem, but if we work together, progress can definitely be made. This is why we up hold the three key values of: Visibility, Partnership, and Alignment. Visibility, to ensure that those in need of said services are aware of them and have easy access to them. Partnership, because the best way to achieve success is together. Alignment, to ensure that every project we take on aligns with the needs of the communities we are looking to serve. There are many resources and organizations that have the intent to help the communities they serve. To actually do so at the scale that is needed can be a very difficult task. Whether it's the knowledge of running a successful organization, acquiring the funding or resources needed to accomplish their goals, or lack of support, running a successful a non-profit can be a daunting task. This is where partnerships can help. Before taking on any task, we first ensure that it is fulfilling a need of the community. Often the projects we take on are ones to address issues that have been vocalized by the community members themselves. We then seek out other organizations in the area who are providing similar services to form a partnership in assisting with these issues. Only when there is no other organization in that space do we take it upon ourselves to start the initiative. We pride ourselves in listening to the people we serve and building relationships not only with the people of these communities, but with the local organizations that support them. Due to a wide range of needs, we support projects and initiatives in the areas of social service, mental health, performing and fine arts, music, film, health, wellness, education and housing. No project is too big and none too small. We are happy to host clothing drives as well as assist in city wide initiatives. We invite you to become a part of Mysterious Ways JC.
