Mission Statement
BOLANIE Enterprises Incorporated (BEI) is committed to transforming lives by empowering families to break free from the cycle of poverty. With a global perspective, we focus on providing holistic support, education, and sustainable opportunities to uplife communities in need, families experiencing homelessness, and children desiring formal education. Our mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and the unwavering belief in the potential of every person, especially the youngest, to rise above their circumstances and build a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
About This Cause
Our vision is a world where all families have the tools, opportunities, and support to overcome poverty and achieve generational wealth. We envision thriving global communities where every child has access to quality education and the prospect to realize their full potential, free from the barriers of economic hardship, and where the cycle of poverty is replaced by a legacy of hope, dignity and success for future generation. The word "Bolanie" is African in origin from a West African community called Yoruba and means "wealth at home". The wealth of BEI is the provision of sustainable services and opportunities that foster stability in housing, financial literacy, civic engagement and education. BEI's local program points (North Carolina) include: * Family Empowerment and Homelessness Prevention providing comprehensive support services to families experiencing homelessness, including access to safe housing, job training, financial literacy programs, and essential resources, ensuring that they can stabilize their lives and work towards long term self-sufficiency. * Educational Support for Underserved Youth supporting after-school tutoring, mentorship programs, and scholarship opportunities for children from low-income families, ensuring they have the academic support and encouragement needed to excel in school and pursure higher education. * Community Wellness and Resources Centers advocating for community hubs that offer essential services such as food assistance, mental health counseling, and wellness programs. These centers serve as safe spaces where families can access the resources they need to improve their overall well-being and thrive within their communities. BEI's International Mission (Kenya) is Education and Reource Access in Nyagatugu, Kenya where we are committed to ensuring that children in the rural village of Nyagatugu, Kenya have access to quality education and the resources necessary to thrive. This includes providing school supplies, building infrastructure, and supporting local educators, as well as offering programs that address nutritional needs, healthcare, and overall well-being of the children to create a conducive learning environment.
