Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a society and economy in which Disadvantage youths achieve financial prosperity and high quality of life for themselves and their families to contribute to the advancement of their community. Priority is placed on youth education, specifically in the areas of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, the environment, job training and literacy. We are a new organization looking to train individuals in all sorts of trades. So basically i want to bring bake trade skills and make them so accessible that no one has a reason or an excuse to not have a skill to live.
About This Cause
Vocational education and training are crucial as they link young people's competencies with employers' needs. Bringing vocational training closer to the needs of dynamically changing and evolving labor markets and economies can help young people move into more productive and sustainable jobs. Therefore, vocational education and training play a critical role in equipping young people with the right skills to meet labor market needs, fueling competitiveness while reducing youth unemployment. In recognition of the need for coordinated action, Young’s Legacy was established as a non-profit organization to support the homeless community, less fortunate, the less privileged, disadvantaged and homeless individuals in Orlando, Winter Park, Ocoee, and Kissimmee all in Florida. We help the youths by providing resources and programs that will aid in helping develop skills, awareness, and lifelong knowledge that will help them succeed as they grow into adulthood. The organization is passionate about rebuilding lives and futures by providing support, creative outlets, basic skills and autonomous living, preparing the less privileged for an independent future beyond their present experience. Currently, the Young’s Legacy executive team is comprised of knowledgeable and experienced individuals passionate about helping the less fortunate. They are supported by a team of a credible and committed team prepared to harness all their strength, availability, and professionalism to catapult the organization to the greater height in conjunction with an outstanding team of volunteers. Under such governance, they carry the necessary expertise to effectively ensuring adequate protection and support to disadvantaged individuals.
