Mission Statement
To offer services to help families during crisis and non-crisis by empowering them with educational support as well as tangible assistance. To help individuals and families grow in self awareness, grow in knowledge, to feel the love of Jesus through our ministry, and to construct healthy future goals.
About This Cause
We are an educational training and support center that is dedicated to bringing help, hope, and healing by giving educational, emotional, and tangible support to our clients. We offer services to moms of all walks: single moms, teen pregnancy/moms, foster moms, grandparents raising grand children, and moms from two parent homes. They register with us and take video classes on things they need help with and they earn Mommy Bucks to "purchase" items they need from us at our in house "store room". We provide support groups, mentors, family activities, dvd classes, and live training classes. Classes are on things such as Financial Stability and Household Budgeting on a Shoestring Income, Coupon Clipping, Time Management, Newborn Care, CPR Classes, Healthy Cooking Class, Dental Care Class, Parenting Classes, and more. We also host events for our clients and the community, such as: Christmas Winter Wonderland Program (a Luncheon for moms with a speaker, singer, and presents given out to take home for their children for Christmas), Domestic Violence Awareness Summit, Pregnancy Workshops (for expectant moms or parents of newborns to come get info from social workers, food pantries, diaper pantries, health dept about vaccines, Gabriel Projects, Heart and Hand, and other resources in our communities), Job Fairs (open to all of the community), etc.
