About This Cause
Sponsor A Space is a community-sponsored program improving lives through compassionate organizing sessions in Colorado Springs. Led by a team of professional organizers and partnered with leading social services organizations, needs-based candidates can get the support that they need to live empowered lives. Most people want to help their neighbors who are struggling emotionally . . . but feel helpless to give practical relief. For those who are struggling, the clutter is more than just stuff - it’s holding back their life. When stuff stops being just clutter and represents pain, Sponsor A Space is here to help. WE BREAK THROUGH EMOTIONAL BARRIERS CAUSED BY CLUTTER. We're empowering people engaged with a social services agency to overcome an overwhelming season: -- Long-term medical, mental health, and/or behavioral battles -- Partner and sexual violence -- Unsafe living spaces for children and seniors WE BELIEVE THAT NO ONE SHOULD STRUGGLE THROUGH EMOTIONAL CLUTTER ALONE. We are currently partnering with 11 local social services agencies including: (1) Colorado Medicaid. (2) El Paso County Department of Human Services (3) Big Brothers Big Sisters (4) Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center And we're just getting started!
