Mission Statement

M.A.D.E Performing Arts and Community Center exists to empower underserved and at-risk youth through transformative access to performing arts, financial literacy, life skills training, and innovative wraparound support services. Our mission is to nurture creativity, develop character, and provide a structured foundation for success by equipping young people with the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to become confident in their communities.

About This Cause

The M.A.D.E Performing Arts and Community Outreach Center recognizes the need for services of the at-risk youth in the Grand Prairie, Texas community and surrounding areas. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to empowering underserved youth through a dynamic blend of performing arts, life skills, and innovative wraparound support services. Founded in honor of Louis "LC" Johnson, M.A.D.E provides a safe, nurturing environment where youth can explore their talents, build confidence, and prepare for adulthood. Our organization offers structured programs in dance, music, modeling, theater, film, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, mental wellness, academic support, and community service. A key initiative includes the future M.A.D.E Group Home, a transitional housing program for aged-out foster youth, complete with mentorship, therapy, and independent living resources. With over a decade of impact, M.A.D.E continues to expand its reach- servings as both a creative outlet and a lifeline for at-risk youth. At its core, M.A.D.E exists to turn pain into purpose and talent into transformation.
