Mission Statement
MELIS EYLÜL DOĞRUKOL HOLOPROZENSEPHALY Special Education and Rehabilitation Center aims to prepare children with special education needs for life by providing services tailored to their needs, enabling them to perform their roles in society, establish good relationships with others, work collaboratively, and adapt to their environment as productive individuals. The center also aims to eliminate or minimize the effects of disabilities, such as language and speech difficulties, and intellectual, physical, sensory, social, emotional, and behavioral problems, while maximizing their abilities and promoting their integration into society through the development of basic self-care and independent living skills. Regarding families, the center aims to assist parents in accepting their child, effectively participating in their child's education, and providing information on addressing behavioral problems. The center also seeks to create an accessible timeframe for families to engage in social activities and escape their daily routine, even if only for a short time, during the rehabilitation period.
About This Cause
Our organization uses donations from volunteers to support the treatment (such as surgeries or prostheses), education (rehabilitation), and improvement of the quality of life of our disabled children, as well as to provide support to their families. If you would like to contribute to this project and support the treatment and needs of children affected by earthquakes in Turkey, we welcome your donations for our event that will be held on June 2nd.
