ACF USA supports the rescue & rehabilitation of abused & injured animals in Pakistan and the importance of spreading awareness on this cause & advocating for social change to create a more civil, compassionate society.
About This Cause
ACF USA supports the rescue and rehabilitation of severely abused and injured animals in Pakistan, raising awareness about the crucial need for social change in this area. It backs specific programs, initiatives, and projects of Pakistan's first and largest animal rescue organization. These include daily rescue services, shelter maintenance and upgrades, TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Release/Relocate) drives, donkey camps, medical treatments, community outreach and education, and social documentaries. Highlights of our work are poignant rescue stories, comprehensive medical treatment for various animals (dogs, cats, goats, cows, donkeys, monkeys, vultures, crows, eagles), Pakistan’s first medical camps for animals in abusive pet markets, and donkey camps that foster community empathy and care. Additionally, ACF is collaborating with Pakistan government officials to pass laws against animal abuse, and runs various educational and advocacy programs, including eco-friendly initiatives.
