About This Cause
Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, CHAPTS is the Chaparral High School Association of Parents and Teachers, a 501(c)(3) organization operated by parent volunteers and funded by generous donations from the Chaparral community. We are not managed by the Chaparral administration or the Scottsdale Unified School District, but we work closely with School and District staff to ensure that parents are engaged with what's happening on campus and to fund special programs or supplies that are otherwise outside the school’s budget. CHAPTS supports all Chaparral students each year by providing grants to promote student learning, funding improvements to campus facilities and climate, and though parent engagement.
