About This Cause
Thanks for your interest in SnoValley Tilth! As a member organization comprised of over 80 farms, individuals, and community businesses, SnoValley Tilth plays a vital role in the resurgence of a vibrant, sustainable food system for the Puget Sound region. We support organic and sustainable food and fiber production throughout the Snoqualmie and Snohomish watersheds. The funds we raise help to grow our Experience Farming Project (our farm incubator program), home to the next generation of SnoValley farmers. We also connect consumers directly to their farmers by operating the Carnation Farmers Market Tuesdays 3-7pm, May-October, and by maintaining a local farm directory on our website. We provide farm- and food-related education to the public as well as to farmers, connect farmers to each other for resource- and knowledge-sharing, and advocate for public policy that supports sustainable farming in King County.
