Mission Statement
DBSA provides hope, help, support, and education to improve the lives of people who have mood disorders.
About This Cause
We are a Non profit to help those with mood disorders in Louisville and the Lexington area in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. Our goal is to branch out to a wider area of Kentucky and Southern Indiana providing support for those suffering or dealing with friends or family members with mood disorders. We are currently holding Zoom Support Meetings 3 days a week to ensure that our mission continues during Covid for those compromised immune systems and also have also reconvened and started to meet in person again in August of 2021; we are back to near normal support meetings at local churches, and Wellness centers. Not only do we hold support groups, we also try to have guest speakers, social events, and do advocacy work for mental illness and mood disorders.
