Mission Statement
Urban Youth Collaborative (UYC) empowers student leaders to share the love of Jesus with their friends in practical ways in schools and neighborhoods throughout San Diego.
About This Cause
UYC is a coalition of local churches that support student leaders at 90 middle and high school campuses throughout San Diego County's urban communities. Students facilitate weekly clubs on campus for 3,000 peers per week and brainstorm practical ways to serve their broader school and community. Adults leaders and congregations provide support through wrap around strategies that engage young people holistically.
