About This Cause
Readers 2 Leaders is a Dallas-based nonprofit that provides literacy tutoring in classrooms, after school and at our Booktown Learning Center. Because no single organization can stem the literacy crisis in our community alone, we also provide coaching, consulting, and education opportunities to others leading children to literacy. Through tutoring and coaching, we aim to give all Dallas students equitable opportunities to thrive as readers and leaders. In the 2022-2023 school year, Readers 2 Leaders worked with over 1,600 students. With targeted support and practice, our students are not just meeting their reading goals—they're exceeding them.
