Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote the welfare of honeybees and other pollinators by: performing public outreach on behalf of bees to schools and civic groups conducting classes to train new beekeepers on the art and science of managing bees defining and promoting safe, community-friendly and environmentally sound beekeeping practices collecting and relocating bee swarms that occur in the city, and delivering support and services to those who manage bees in San Francisco and the Bay Area
About This Cause
SF Beekeepers is the leading organization for beekeepers in San Francisco. Founded in 1976, and certified as a non-profit 501c3, the organization provides numerous free services to beekeepers and the public and also works to hold down the cost of managing bees for dedicated beekeepers.
