A 501(c)(3) non profit organization, providing a safe, nurturing, supportive environment with the assistance of our equine team for ALL individuals to have the opportunity to experience their own personal healing and wellness and to reach their fullest potential.
About This Cause
Healing Horse Therapy Center programs offered: Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy: Utilizing an interactive process in which a licensed mental health professional working with an appropriately credentialed equine professional, partners with suitable equine(s) to address psychotherapy goals set forth by the mental health professional and client. Equine Assisted Learning: This is an experiential learning approach which promotes the development of life skills and personal goals through equine assisted activities. Horse for Veterans Horsemanship and Wellness: Encouraging Veterans to build relationships and improve trust. The program assists in learning healthy boundary setting and empowerment in relationships. Enables Veterans to create a toolbox of relaxation techniques, which participants learn to implement in real life situations; also teaches ways to interact with others, which is used "in the barn and out in the world."
