Whitworth University is a private, residential, liberal arts institution affiliated with the Presbyterian church. Founded in 1890, Whitworth University is a predominantly undergraduate institution affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) and located in Spokane, Washington. Today, Whitworth still holds fast to the vision of founder George Whitworth, to "provide a diverse student body with an education of the mind and heart."
