Mission Statement
Rainier Christian Schools serves the families of South King County who are committed to Christian education. Maple Valley Elementary was established in 1963 as a cooperative endeavor of area churches. It flourished as an inter-denominational school with emphasis on serving families of Bible based Christian Churches. The district was created in 1994, following the merger of Kent View Christian Schools and Maple Valley Christian School, each with a rich legacy of Christian education spanning more than 40 years.

It flourished as an inter-denominational school with emphasis on serving families of Bible based Christian Churches. The district was created in 1994, following the merger of Kent View Christian Schools and Maple Valley Christian School, each with a rich legacy of Christian education spanning more than 40 years. The formation of the district facilitated the creation of our middle school, Rainier (Formerly Covington) Christian Middle School, and a third elementary school in the Highlands area of Renton (including Highlands Preschool & Childcare). All of our campuses are now well established and thriving. Our growing district has allowed us to continue expanding our programs, a particular blessing as we seek to meet the needs of a burgeoning demand for Christian education at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.
