Mission Statement

Crisis Connections provides an array of telephone-based support services for anyone in our community experiencing crisis. Our mission statement says: Our passion is caring and listening; empowering people to make positive life changes. We do this through connections between people and critical resources.

About This Cause

Crisis Connections has been at the heart of the Seattle-King County safety net for over 50 years, providing an array of telephone and online support services including: the 24-Hour Crisis Line, King County 2-1-1, WA Recovery Help Line, WA Warm Line, and Teen Link. Our services are often a first call for help for anyone in our community experiencing crisis, whether they're in need of emotional support or seeking assistance with basic needs. Individuals and families experiencing crisis don't often know where to turn for help and have difficulty navigating the complexities of the mental health and human services systems. Crisis Connections' programs provide a free and easily accessible way for people in crisis to reach out and get the help they need. We provide caring and compassionate support and connect callers to resources and services where they can get further assistance. We assist some of the most vulnerable people in our community - those experiencing a mental health crisis or considering suicide, those experiencing homelessness or with incomes below poverty level, at-risk youth, immigrants/refugees, seniors, and people living with disabilities. Every year, we answer over 230,000 calls for help from you neighbors in need.
