Through joy and discovery, Giddens School nurtures and develops academically and emotionally confident children who advocate for themselves and others.
About This Cause
Some children coast along on a passive educational journey, hoping to find where they belong in the world. Others become lost in a large public system that doesn’t fit all. And some children receive a stalwart education in an environment where privilege hides in plain sight. At Giddens School, this is not so. Giddens kids are prepared for the real world. How to understand it, how to navigate it, how to shape it, and how to thrive in it. Our educators know that the development of a moral compass is as powerful as the building of a strong academic foundation. We educate the whole child by integrating emotional learning, academics, and social justice perspectives in innovative ways to help students become engaged, connected, and empowered to contribute and participate.
