Mission Statement

The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) was established in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Srila Prabhupada). ISKCON has since developed into a worldwide confederation of 6,000 temple devotees and 190,000 congregational devotees.

About This Cause

Better known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is comprised of more than 350 centers, 60 rural communities, 50 schools and 60 restaurants worldwide. The mission of this nonsectarian, monotheistic movement is to promote the well being of society by teaching the science of Krishna consciousness according to the Bhagavad Gita and other ancient Vedic scriptures of India. Some of the activities/programs where employees can volunteer and donate are: Free Veg Meals for all Anyone who walks our temple gets full plate of vegetarian meal irrespective of any background. This programs helps feeding the rich, poor and does not discriminates anyone and is open for all. Ahimsa Milk and Cruelty Free Animals VCC also is venturing on keeping cows that milk and support them when they stop milking. People can visit the farm and meet the cows and get milk from happy cows who know they will not be slaughtered when they do not give milk.
