About This Cause
About Us Ingersoll Gender Center is a mutual support organization for transgender, trans*, gender variant and genderqueer people, and the people who support them. Ingersoll is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization headquartered in Seattle and serving the Greater Puget Sound region and beyond. Ingersoll focuses on direct peer support, community building, education and advocacy. Ingersoll has become a model for peer support organizations around the world, and enjoys an international awareness for its long-standing success and timely innovations. Our Mission Ingersoll Gender Center is an organization by and for transgender and gender nonconforming people that provides mutual support through peer led support groups, advocacy in navigating resources, community organizing, and education — all in the pursuit of our collective self-determination.
