Uniting in service to families, with children, facing homelessness.

About This Cause

The Interfaith Family Shelter operates 5 emergency shelter-and-rehousing programs for families with children experiencing homelessness in Snohomish County, WA. We provide families with the tools and resources to overcome homelessness and rebuild their lives. Our current programs are: - The Family Shelter (downtown Everett, 11 family units) - Miracle House (Marysville, accommodates 2 family units) - Hospitality House (Everett, accommodates 3 family units) - Madison Family Shelter (a Pallet shelter in Everett, 8 family units) - Cars to Housing (safe-parking program, Everett, 5 family units) All programs are non-discriminatory and low-barrier to promote maximum access. Families receive shelter and basic needs services, and case management to help them achieve permanent housing within 90 days approx. - 64% of families achieve permanent housing upon exiting the program - 80% of them are still housed one year later This is among the highest success rates in Snohomish County! Most shelters prioritize women and children - but we are one of only three shelters that also accepts single dads and families with teenage sons. This helps family members stay together and motivates them to succeed! YOU can become part of the solution to family homelessness!
