About This Cause
The Marysville Community Food Bank has been serving community members in need of food since 1974. The Marysville Community Food Bank provides nutritious food to our community members dealing with food insecurity. We will provide assistance to those in need of support with food who live in our surrounding community but will help anyone in need that lives in Washington State. Our vision is: A hunger free community. Where Hunger Ends, Hope Begins! The programs we offer are: FOOD FOR THOUGHT Provides weekend foods to school students identified as being at risk of not having enough to eat at home. GIVING GARDENS Encourages community members to grow produce to be brought to the food bank for distribution to our clients. HOME DELIVERY Provides homebound clients with food provisions twice a month. TOY STORE Provides toys and other gifts at Christmastime to low-income children.
