Mission Statement
Community Health Care provides primary medical, dental and pharmacy care for patients with or without insurance. There are five clinics in Tacoma and Pierce County that serve more than 45,000 patients per year. 59% of the patients are at or below 100% of the Federal Poverty Level.
About This Cause
The Patient Care Fund assists uninsured and under-insured patients afford the quality care they need to remain healthy and productive members of the Pierce County community. Regular Preventative Care reduces costs to the greater community by reducing the number of unnecessary emergency room visits each year. The Patient Care Fund also assists with needed care, supplies and equipment that may not be covered by the patients insurance.
