Mission Statement
The GLES PTA is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization whose mission is to promote the education, welfare, health, and safety of all children at Green Lake Elementary school. We are all parents of students in GLES.
About This Cause
The number one reason to join the Parent Teacher Association is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. We have an incredible parent and teacher community at GLES! Our goal is to support the school in a way that enriches the school life of all the children at Green Lake Elementary. Membership gives you access to discounts and perks through the national PTA, but more importantly, it allows us to continue to provide the programs that we are known for. PROGRAMS SUPPORTED BY THE PTA INCLUDE: Before/After school programs including Art Class, Chess Club, Drama Club, Language Instruction and Book Clubs Artists in Residence Assemblies Building beautification and landscaping Weekly bulletin to improve communication between the school and parents/guardians School website Family Fun Nights Field trips Holiday food and gift drives Vocal music New Family Welcome events Reader Board Science Fair School Directory Spring Picnic Swimming lessons for every grade Teacher Recognition parties T-shirt sales Dragon Tutor program Yearbook Young Author's Day
