Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide high quality ballet based Classical and American contemporary dance performance and dance education. And, to offer economically and culturally diverse communities in the Pacific Northwest the opportunity to experience dance as an important art form.
About This Cause
For more than 35 years, Dance Theatre Northwest, a 501-c-3 nonprofit organization has been providing community service outreach through dance performances and dance education programs in Greater Pierce County. Our accessibility to Pierce County’s underserved participants has always been excellent and Dance Theatre Northwest has a track record of reaching a different population than most other arts organizations. This is extremely important where so many area audiences and students are being eliminated from art experiences in the community and in our schools.
