Mission Statement
Skagit Symphony presents exceptional orchestral experiences to a growing and inclusive audience; striving to enrich, entertain, educate, and inspire our community through music.
About This Cause
Skagit Symphony Skagit Symphony strives to inspire and transform our community through the power of music. We perform concerts at beautiful McIntyre Hall in Mount Vernon, Washington. Skagit Symphony is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, comprised of 98% volunteers, including our 70+ orchestra members, Board of Directors and all committees. The Music Director, Executive Director and support staff are employees of Skagit Symphony. Skagit Symphony plays four evening concerts each season, bringing a balance of fabulous contemporary composers and treasured favorites, while highlighting world-class guest artists. We proudly offer the unique opportunity for hundreds of local fifth graders to attend a special concert on a school day in January every year. There is no cost to the schools or students to attend these school concerts. All expenses, including school bus transportation, are paid for by our generous donors. Skagit Pops! is the newest addition to our concert line-up. Every June Skagit Symphony performs a toe-tapping set of familiar popular pieces to please fans of all ages. This year we are presenting Wild, Wild West. Visit skagitsymphony.com to see all that Skagit Symphony has to offer. It's a Skagit County community gem. Your support makes the music happen.
