Mission Statement
Our Mission: To care for and enhance the environment and scenic qualities, public safety and recreational opportunities on public lands and waterways in Washington State.
About This Cause
At Friends of the Trail we strive to rid our public lands and waterways of accumulated trash, appliances, tires, abandoned vehicles, and even toxic waste, to name some of what we properly dispose of, in order to return these areas to their pristine state. Using a labor force of court assigned people who owe community service requirements, we help the environment while allowing them to complete their obligation to society in a fulfilling manner. We also have a growing list of volunteers.
