Mission Statement
Share In Asia reaches out in a tangible way to every human being regardless of race, religion, or culture, to those who need physical and material help, by providing food, shelter, education, job training, housing, and drinking water, and rescuing children and women from the streets, garbage dumps, prostitution, low-caste persecutions, and from inhumane conditions, as much as our resources allow.
About This Cause
Since its inception in 1996, over 300,000 people have received some form of aid through our mission. Food, shelter, drinking water, medicines, scholarships, education, rescue mission are all on the top of our lists. Orphanages and schools are still in place in India. Over 45 humanitarian teams have reached the shores of India, Sri Lanka and Nepal in the last 15 years. Several prostitutes have been rescued and rehabilitated. In India alone over 400 children have been clothed, fed and educated in the last 23 years. 4 Orphanages were in action from the year 2004 to 2018. Due to lack of funds the orphanages were closed but all the children were cared for till they reached 18 years of age. Nearly 1500 children graduated from high school through the help of Share in Asia either with books, fees or tuition. Out of which 41 students received scholarships for college education directly through Share in Asia. Over 500 widows received some form of support through our mission. Food packages, money to buy groceries, clothes, travel assistance, hospitalization and other essential items were provided on a monthly basis. Nearly 30,000 people received some form of disaster help. During the Gujarat earthquake, Tsunami in the Southern Asia, Fire incidents and during floods are various times, beneficiaries received care packages, shelter, immediate food and necessities were provided.
