Mission Statement
For 20 years CASA Partners has supported children at risk of abuse or neglect and are placed in foster care.
About This Cause
CASA Partners offers four programs to help children. Needs From the Heart: In 2017 162 children received specifically requested items (bicycles, Swim lessons, warm clothing, coveted toys and more) totaling $17,000. Bee Kind Garden: In 2017 36 children attend a 5 sessions of a day camp where they got to meet their devoted 1:1 mentor and experience the joys of childhood that most children take for granted—playing in a sandbox, catching bugs in a stream, riding a horse and more. My School Bag: In 2017 300 children went to their first day of school wearing new clothes and shoes, looking and feeling sharp! My Bag: In 2017 400 children left the DCHS office headed to a new home with a backpack provided by My Bag. These children came to DCFS with almost nothing, perhaps a garbage bag with a few items that were grabbed as they were removed from their homes. They left with a backpack filled with clothes, toys, books, toiletries and a handmade blanket to ease their journey to their new home.
