Mission Statement
WestSide Baby, in partnership with our community, provides essential items to local children in need by collecting and distributing diapers, clothing, and equipment.
About This Cause
WestSide Baby was founded in 2001 by a new mom who recognized the stresses of caring for an infant. We are the only social service agency in the western King County area that collects, inspects and distributes free diapers, clothing, cribs and safety gear for babies and children. More than 150 local social service agencies, including shelters and food banks, rely upon us to provide critical necessities for low-income families. In 2022 we distributed more than 2.6 million free diapers, 2,245 car seats, 6684 clothing bags for infants and children up to size 12; hygiene items, safe sleep options, including cribs, pack 'n plays, & bassinets, and we served over 34,000 children.
