Mission Statement
The Los Gatos Music Boosters promotes and supports the music program at the Los Gatos High School and RJ Fisher Middle School, including marching band and color guard, symphonic and jazz bands, wind ensemble, orchestra, choir, and winter percussion and winter guard.
About This Cause
The purpose of the Los Gatos Music Boosters is to promote and support the music programs in the public schools of Los Gatos grades K-12. We aim to enrich the lives of our students, our school, and the Los Gatos community, through logistics, funding, and advocacy. We are a community organization whose purpose is the advancement of musical education through support of the music education programs at Los Gatos High School and R.J. Fisher Middle School. We do this in three ways: Logistics: We provide logistical support--chaperones, arranging transportation, lugging gear, and so forth. Funding: We provide valuable funds that are used to purchase and maintain equipment for the music programs at the High School and Middle School, including instruments, uniforms, flags and equipment for the Color Guard, electronics, and props for Marching field shows. We also provide funds for special educators and performers to provide clinics in the music classes. In addition, we provide financial assistance to families with special needs in pursuing music education at Los Gatos High School and R.J. Fisher Middle School. Advocacy: We promote music programs at school and in our community. Los Gatos Music Boosters is a non-profit corporation recognized under section 501(c)3 of the Federal Tax code.
