About This Cause
The Alaska SPCA is Alaska's oldest and most respected animal welfare organization. It provides low-cost veterinary care to pet owners who would not otherwise have access; outreach programs to communities without access to vet care; a small animal shelter for unhomed pets; and coordinates to ensure that pets across Alaska are safe, receive humane treatment, and are free to engage in species-appropriate behaviors. The Alaska SPCA is not affiliated with the ASPCA and is an independent charity registered in the state of Alaska and recognized by the US Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)3 nonprofit.
