About This Cause
Tinnitus Hub Inc is a non-profit organization run by volunteers who all suffer from tinnitus themselves. Tinnitus is the perception of a phantom sound and afflicts an estimated 10-20% of the population. The condition is potentially disabling and there is no cure. Therefore, we work with researchers to provide a patient voice in guiding research towards a cure. We also raise funds for research through the tinnitus community. Tinnitus is an invisible and largely unrecognized and underfunded condition; therefore, we raise awareness about the individual as well as broader socio-economic impact of tinnitus. We also provide educational resources about tinnitus research and evidence based information about treatments.
