Mission Statement
The mission of the San Diego Falcons Pop Warner football and cheer program is to teach our young athletes the fundamentals of sports as well as the concepts of team work, commitment, and accountability; while maintaining a balance with the development of athletic skills. Through Sports and mentoring we want to instill strong character, values, respect, and life skills that will assist them in growing and becoming young adults and productive citizens in the community.
About This Cause
A group of volunteers decided to facilitate educational opportunities, athletic excellence, promote physical fitness and sportsmanship with a desire to challenge kids and help them stay off the streets. The medium we chose to create this environment is competitive youth football. Our football teams were formed to join and compete in the San Diego West Coast Conference Pop Warner under the club name San Diego Falcons. The teams will consist of age groups, Flag 5 & 6, Tackle 7u, 8u, 9u,10u,11u, 12u,13u, 14u, with approximately 35 players per age group. We offer cheerleading groups in the same age brackets. The San Diego Falcons are open to kids from school districts throughout the San Diego. These teams will truly represent the different cultural backgrounds that make up our city and surrounding communities. As an organization that strives to provide area youth with an opportunity to learn, have fun, and experience the importance of teamwork, we are gratified when local businesses and individuals show their support in our efforts.
