Mission Statement
Yoga Health Institute will uplift the vocational path of yoga and meditation instructors as a trusted and valued public career pathway in Health and Wellness. Our graduates will support the physical well-being and mental health of the community by offer evidence-based, results-driven yoga and meditation teachings. We will accomplish this by operating a training center and facilitate job placement through contracts with our partners.
About This Cause
We believe that money should not be a barrier for sincere people those who can use the healing gifts of yoga for wellness the most. We have been doing volunteer work for years, but it wasn't until the tornado that ripped through Dallas in October 2019 that we decided to step up our service. We put together a volunteer team of yoga teachers and brought yoga for stress relief to the kids and faculty of Burnet Elementary. The yoga was so well-received that the group of teachers was contracted to teach through the following academic year. The impact is always tremendous. Now the intention is to open a training center and offer public classes by a minimum donation of $1. We will also teacher train and certify those interested in exploring a job teaching yoga. We will partner with hospitals, schools, and other organizations and procure job opportunities for our graduates. We do this to reduce physical and mental suffering in the community. Your generous donations reduce the expense of providing services and help us manifest the vision for the benefit of the community. Thank you!
