Mission Statement
At Multnomah Playschool, we embrace and celebrate the diversity within our school, community, and world. Our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for children and families to understand and appreciate both the ways we are alike and the ways we are different.
About This Cause
As a small, community-focused preschool, Multnomah Playschool (MPS) relies on financial support to continue offering enriching programs and ensuring accessibility for all families. MPS is a parent-cooperative preschool serving children ages 3 through Pre-K. We provide a safe, healthy, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can explore their sense of self and understanding of the world around them. Our play-based curriculum emphasizes social learning, anti-bias education, and the celebration of diversity. Through guided play and hands-on activities, children develop gross and fine motor skills, build communication abilities, and engage in creative expression. Outdoor play is a vital part of our daily routine, fostering exploration and a connection with nature.
