Mission Statement
“Against an age of alienation, isolation and polarization, we are building a community of connection and encounter. Our goal is to fulfill the prophet Isaiah’s dream: Neveh Shalom will be a house for people of all backgrounds, orientations, genders and viewpoints. We will then share our culture with the larger community and world.
About This Cause
Foundation School (a preschool program open to the public - no religious affiliations necessary to enroll). Local Shelter Food Drives, Outside In (a soup kitchen that provides meals for over 100 kids). In addition, we also add a Soup to the Streets (Where we take soup and sandwiches to the homeless in the Portland Metro Area during the winter months). We have a Baby Bootcamp Program that is open to the public. Medical Recovery Group meeting - no religious affiliations for this program and it's used for those who have suffered a brain injury. Weight Watchers meeting facility.
