About This Cause
Cascadia Health takes on some of Oregon’s most pressing challenges. We provide a safety net of wrap-around services for over 18,000 individuals and families who are struggling with severe and persistent mental health challenges and addictions, including people experiencing houselessness and housing insecurity. Our whole healthcare approach includes services across 4 counties and at more than 75 locations, including 750 units of housing for people with mental health conditions. At Cascadia, we believe that housing is paramount to health. We know that supportive housing is a proven solution to the region’s toughest challenges. Our approach is unique and rooted in advancing equity. We are one of very few providers of supported housing for people with serious and persistent mental health challenges in the Portland metro area.
