Mission Statement

The Mission of the Friends and Foundation of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library is to enrich the lives of people in Benton County by fostering a vibrant, accessible, and inclusive Corvallis-Benton County Public Library system through advocacy, volunteerism, and philanthropic support. We envision a thriving and inclusive community where the public library is a cornerstone of lifelong learning, inspiration, and connection for residents.

About This Cause

The purpose of the Friends and Foundation of the Library is the benefit and support of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library and its branches by providing goods and services such as books and other library materials, buildings, facilities, equipment, or monies or grants for such purposes; focusing public attention on library services, facilities and needs; and supporting the use and expanding the provision of library facilities and services as resources for the community. The principal purpose is to provide for services and facilities above the annual budget which Benton County and City of Corvallis provide.
