Assistance League of Amador Valley is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization dedicated to hands-on volunteerism, assisting those in need through unique service programs. As best stated in our motto, "Reaching out to those in need", our organization is focused on philanthropic projects that make a positive difference in the lives of the most needy in our Tri-Valley communities.

About This Cause

The Assistance League of Amador Valley is a non-profit organization dedicated to hands on volunteerism, assisting those in need through unique service programs, which are focused on the children in need and support for the elderly in the Tri Valley area of Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore, CA. Our two umbrella programs are: . Operation School Bell -- our national program that provides clothing, books, and tutoring services for elementary school students, provides diagnostic screening services for preschool children for early detection of eye problems, provides bags of goodies to children who have a birthday during their stay at 3 women's shelters, and provides educational games, supplies, books, and craft projects for foster children spending supervised time with their biological parents. Community -- We maintain a magazine library for seniors at the Pleasanton Senior Center, participate in the Book Buddies program which matches seniors with 3rd graders for assistance with reading skills, assist with special events at the Pleasanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, and provide food to a local food pantry as well as assist with the stocking and distribution of the food. The members of the Assistance League of Amador Valley are a highly motivated and dedicated group of almost 90 volunteers, dedicated to the betterment of our community.
