PetSmart Charities, Inc. is a nonprofit animal welfare organization that saves the lives of homeless pets. Founded in 1994, the Organization envisions a world in which every pet has a lifelong, loving home. The Organization’s mission is to find lifelong, loving homes for all pets by supporting programs and thought leadership that bring people and pets together. More than 600,000 dogs and cats find homes each year through the Organization’s adoption program in most of the 1,600 plus PetSmart® stores. PetSmart Charities grants more money to directly help pets in need than any other animal welfare group in North America, with a focus on keeping people and pets together.
