Mission Statement

To improve the welfare and reduce the population of feral and stray cats through spay/neuter programs and education.

About This Cause

The Feral Cat Coalition of Oregon (FCCO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the welfare and reducing the population of feral and outdoor stray cats living on our streets. The cats in our care are community cats because the cats belong to no one yet they were created by everyone. There are no other programs in the region providing the services that we do for these homeless cats. Since 1995, we have helped more than 135,000 cats. In addition to being spayed or neutered, each cat receives FVRCP (distemper) and rabies vaccines, flea and ear mite treatment as needed, treatment for other minor medical conditions, and an eartip for future identification. FCCO is the only program in our region providing these vital spay/neuter services for feral and outdoor stray cats. We'll help more than 7,000 cats this year – all for a donation. Cats can get pregnant at just 5 months old and have up to 3 litters per year! Affordable spay/neuter services for feral cats are necessary to control their population, improve their health, and protect wildlife. Spay/neuter benefits our community as a whole — the cats, people, and environment alike.
